By making a monetary contribution to Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York, you help make an immediate difference in the lives of girls. Your gift to Girl Scouting will help girls realize their dreams and become tomorrow's leaders. Through your generosity, they will grow into active and engaged members of their communities and develop their full potential in their chosen fields. Join us in helping girls everywhere.
There are many ways to donate to the Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York:
- Attend one of our special events.
- Send in a donation to the Annual Giving Campaign.
- Remember the Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York in your will or similar planned gift.
- Send in a donation that will support one of the specific objectives listed below.
- Donate through the SEFA Campaign as a NYS employee using SEFA number 50-322.
- Donate through the CFC Campaign as a federal employee using CFC number 7045.
- Donate through United Way as an employee of a private company. You can designate our council for a Special Agency Care gift from United Way on your pledge card.
- Use e-philanthropy by clicking on the Support Girl Scouts icon at the bottom of the page.
Here are just a few ways that your generous gift may be put to use:
- Today´s Girls, Tomorrow´s Leaders (Girl Leadership Fund): Enables us to develop and implement cutting edge, "branded" leadership program for girls and young women.
- Girl Member Opportunity Fund: Makes it possible for every girl who wants to have a full Girl Scout experience through direct and special assistance to girl members.
- Reaching Girls at Risk: Enables us to develop and implement programs that reach girls for whom a traditional Girl Scout experience is not an option.
- Girl Scout Graduating Senior Scholarship Fund: Provides scholarships for post-secondary education for girls who are graduating seniors, Silver Award winners and Gold Award winners.
- Adult Support, Learning & Leadership Fund: Makes it possible to educate and support adult volunteers so they have the leadership, knowledge, and skills to provide excellent service to girls.
- Outdoor Opportunity (Camp Assistance) Fund: Provides direct financial assistance of up to 95% of outdoor program/camp fees to make it possible for every girl to go to camp
- A Place For Girls Fund: Provides dollars for property development, care, and enhancement, ensuring properties that are safe and fully accessible to people of all abilities.
- GSNENY Technology Fund: Ensures that all council operations, services and programs are fully supported by effective and efficient technology. Gifts are also used for technology program for girls.
