Silver & Gold Awards

*As of Tuesday, August 25 all Gold and Silver Proposals and Final Reports must be sent to Susan Conway in the Queensbury Service Center.*

Silver Awards

The Girl Scout Silver Award symbolizes an 11-14 year old Girl Scout’s accomplishments in Girl Scouting and community activities as she matures and works to better her life and the lives of others. It is the second highest award in Girl Scouting.

Gold Awards

The Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award in Girl Scouts, focuses on a 14-17 year old Girl Scout’s interests and personal journey through leadership skills, career explorations, self-improvement, and service. Girls are not required to earn the Silver Award in order to earn the Gold Award.

Important Deadlines:

-The Silver and Gold Award Committee meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
-All Gold Award proposals must be received by the 1st business day of the month to be reviewed by the Committee.
-All Reports received after the 1st business day will be reviewed the following month.
