We are still accepting registrations for all other Hidden Lake Camp programs. However, we expect many other programs to fill within the next few weeks, so get your registrations in! Hidden Lake Camp is nestled on 400 acres in the southern portion of the Adirondack Park, approximately 3 miles from Lake George Village. The camp includes a small private lake, streams, low mountains, and woodlands. Facilities at Hidden Lake Camp include, platform tents and lean-to units, a modern dining hall, health lodge, shower house, buildings for programming and inclement weather, a large playing field, swimming and boating areas, a high and low ropes course and hiking trails. While at camp, girls live in platforms tents or in lean-tos units and sleep on cots with mattresses. Each child has room for personal belongings. Counselors sleep in nearby tents or lean-to. Tents and lean-tos hold between 4-6 girls. All units include a shelter for activities and inclement weather, an outhouse, wash stations, water spigots and a campfire circle. Girls are assigned to units according to programs and age. Activities at Hidden Lake Camp include: swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, nature activities, sports, rock climbing, high and low ropes course, horseback riding (off site), outdoor living skills, drama, photography and arts and crafts. |
