Property Rentals

Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York provides several ways for you to enjoy our beautiful camp properties.

What is there to do?

Our camp properties are available year-round and seasonally for day programs, meetings, events and overnight use. Whether you love swimming in a cool lake on a hot summer day or snowshoeing through the forest in winter, we have the perfect site for you at one of our beautiful Girl Scout properties. You have the option to choose between heated lodges, platform tents, and lean-tos, or even pitch your own tent. Go hiking, swimming, canoeing, build a campfire, explore the forest, build a snowman, have a picnic, or relax under the stars; you’ll find so much to do you’ll want to come back for more!

Who can go to camp?

  • Girl Scout troops and Girl Scout Service Units
  • Families of Girl Scout members (Camping, birthday parties, showers, reunions, etc.)
  • Non-profit and for-profit organizations and businesses

When can we apply?

As of October 1, 2009, all groups may apply for the dates they're interested in one year prior to their desired reservation date.  For example, a Service Unit planning an encampment starting June 14, 2011 may apply for said encampment no earlier than June 14, 2010.  Reservations are first-come, first-served; if multiple groups' applications are received on the same date, a lottery will be held.

To view property availability, please consult the calendar located on each camp property's page.  Most of our camp properties are available year-round; however, Lake Clear Camp is only available from late Spring to early Fall.

Reservations for troops and service units will be confirmed upon receipt of application, payment, copies of certifications, and a separate check for a security deposit. All troops and service units are required to have adults present with the proper training during their rental. Please see the training schedule listed on the application for more information.

For pricing, capacity, and other specific property information, please consult the appropriate property's rental application form, located on the Forms/Applications page of this website.

There is a new way to do Site Orientation! A self-directed study option provides you with the information you need, if you can't make it up to the on-site training.
