Transforming the Girl Scout Movement....and YOU!:

If you stopped and asked a random person what they think of when they hear "Girl Scouts," what would they say?  Cookies...Camping...Crafts...Community Service...??   Girl Scouts of the USA would really like the answer to be Leadership Development!

Our Strategic Priority: To build the best leadership experience that defines activities and outcomes, is differentiated by age-level, promotes consistency, and offers flexible pathways for participation for all girls 5-17.

Want to make a difference in someone's life? You can.

Our volunteers are inspiring, invaluable, and they have a profound effect on everyone they help. Whether you have an hour, a day, a weekend, or more, the energy you share with Girl Scouts will instill in girls confidence that will last a lifetime. Without adults playing many pivotal roles, Girl Scouting couldn't happen. Whether you are a leader/advisor, parent or guardian, volunteer, mentor or financial supporter, you awaken in girls their promise to develop their full potential.

We are looking for volunteers who represent the diversity of the world we live in—men as well as women, senior citizens as well as younger adults, people of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, and of course our treasured alumnae—anyone who wants to help make a difference in the lives of girls. Whether you would like to offer administrative support at one of our Service Centers, host a workplace tour or educational workshop for girls, or serve on a special events committee, there is a place for you at Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York.
