Troop Membership
Girl Scout troops may be comprised of as few as 5 girls and two adult leaders, but most troops typically have from 10 to 30 girls. The girls can be from one or more school grades, and they meet together once a week or every other week. Meeting times are varied - after school, in the evenings or on weekends. Meeting days and times are agreed upon by the leaders, girls and parents.
Juliette Girl Scout (Individually registered)
Girls join Girl Scouts as a Juliette to take part in group and individual Girl Scout activities offered on a year-round basis. Girls can work on activity badges with an adult mentor of their choosing, and they can participate in all Girl Scout programs in their age level, including camp, leadership courses, service projects, badge projects, and a variety of events that appeal to today's girls.
